O2 Consulting at the X Russian Private Equity Congress

On 27 September 2018, the O2 Consulting lawyers spoke at the X Russian Private Equity Congress, an important event in the private equity and venture capital markets in Russia and the CIS.

At the conference, O2 Consulting held a panel The Private Equity Market in the World of New Sanctions - Legal Aspects of Doing Business in the New Realities. Mrs. Daria Nosova, head of the O2 Consulting FinTech Practice, moderated the panel.

“Sanctions is certainly a significant issue. They have an impact on many aspects of the private equity business. Such aspects involve the specifics of investments funds operating in this region, relations with LPs, particulars of the investment portfolio, complexity of the strategic planning and respective tax consequences. We have tried to cover them all. Venture capital and corporate investors shall take into account this issue too. We have raised a number of questions. What actions shall be taken today? How efficient is the forecast? What legal tools to use?” – commented Mrs. Daria Nosova.
