Amnesty of capitals ver. 4.0

The Government of the Russian Federation has submitted to the State Duma a bill proposing to hold the fourth stage of the capital amnesty (No. 80716-8) in the period from March 14, 2022 to February 28, 2023.

This bill provides for the implementation of the fourth stage of voluntary declaration of property and accounts (deposits) in banks by individuals, providing legal guarantees for the safety of capital and property of individuals, protecting their property interests.

In addition to those options that were already used during the previous stage of the capital amnesty, individuals will have the opportunity to declare cash. It follows from the text of the draft law that guarantees are provided in respect of cash, provided that the declarant, within 30 days from the date of submission of the declaration to the tax authority, deposited the cash indicated in the declaration to the accounts (deposits) of an individual in credit institutions of the Russian Federation.

It is worth noting that despite the fairly early introduction of the bill to the State Duma, it passes all the necessary stages of adoption, which does not exclude the introduction of additions, changes that will be reflected in the final version of the law.
